I agree with the first part, I totally disagree w/ the second. It costs *less* money to do extreme things to the Supra because it's simple to convert to a SINGLE turbo setup. Z's whith their crappy-ass V6 configuration make going single turbo damn near impossible. So we're forced to buy 2 of everything, which is going to cost more money even if by unit it's significantly less. 4 cams vs 2, 2 turbos vs 1, 2 exhaust manifolds vs 1, 2 throttle bodies vs 1, sometimes 2 ICs vs 1, hell just labor alone is going to be less on the Supra in a single configuration to do a turbo swap, where it's going to cost us $1300+ to get it done. Or I may be full of shit, I don't work on Supras. LOL

I think it was a horrible move by Nissan to abandon the I6 configuration in '84 as far as further then OEM power expectations.
